This work was originally composed in 1986 for viola and marimba. In 2003 he rewrote it for VIOLIN AND MARIMBA, in 2005 for BASS CLARINET AND MARIMBA and in 2010 for VIOLONCELLO AND MARIMBA. In 2014 he made this version for ALTO SAX AND MARIMBA. The work consists of 5 contrasting parts, in which the basic material is built from opposite symmetrical positions of intervals and chords. Especially the quest of a young composer is striking in this work.
