On Haiku (The Four Seasons) - shō & string quartet
Inspired by four haiku which represent the four seasons. Opposite the traditional Japanese mouth organ, with origins in the music of the Japanese imperial court, there is a Western string quartet that colors the shō and provides extra resonance.
Requiem
Originally a dance performance with choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Opera Ballet Vlaanderen. Based on the work of the same name by Gabriel Fauré. Instrumentation: soprano, baritone, mixed choir, children's choir ad lib. and instrumental ensemble, in which the qanun plays an important role.
Clarinet Concerto (Sutra)
Trailer with excerpt (last minutes) of SUTRA, Clarinet Concerto for basset clarinet, orchestra and electronics. This work was commissioned by Borletti-Buitoni Trust and BBC Radio 3. World premiere on 31st March 2022 in Glasgow City Halls with Annelien Van Wauwe and BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Martyn Brabbins. Recorded on the cd FLOW by Annelien Van Wauwe and NDR Radiophilharmonie under the baton of Andrew Manze. Electronics by Jorrit Tamminga.
Symphony N°2 (Aquarius' Dream)
SYMPHONY N°2 (Aquarius' Dream) (2016) for soprano, orchestra, electronics & lighting design was commissioned by the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra in co-production with Muziektheater Transparant. World premiere on 18 March 2017 at the Queen Elisabeth Hall in Antwerp with the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, conductor Thierry Fischer, soprano Claron McFadden and Jorrit Tamminga, electronics. Luigi De Angelis & Sergio Policicchio, visual concept and lighting design.

Sacred Places I (Angel) - percussion & electronics
Commissioned by the Concertgebouw Bruges in 2017 for the 'Angel series'. World premiere on 17 November 2017 at the Concertgebouw Bruges by Dominique Vleeshouwers, percussion and Wim Henderickx, electronics (realized by Jorrit Tamminga).

Achilleus, opera
An opera for young people with lyrics by Imme Dros. Premiered in 2003 at Opera Ballet Vlaanderen in Antwerp, a co-production of Muziektheater Transparant, Het Paleis, and Opera Ballet Vlaanderen. Translated into Danish for performances at the Opera in Copenhagen (2006) and later also performed by the International Opera Academy in Ghent.
