This work for piano was composed in 1989. It is the first and only dodecaphonic work composed by Wim Henderickx. This twelve-tone row is incorporated into this piece in its original form, its inversion, its retrograde and its retrograde inversion. The work has a free form; the indication of different fermatas, each with a different length, gives the work a rhapsodic and improvisational character.
