SUITE for violin and piano was written in 1988.
Originally, a Suite consisted of a series of dances. This Suite consists of a series of six movements, written in a free form.
These are six contrasting movements, all based on the same basic material, forming a single whole. From extremely dreamy and unreal moments (parts I-III-IV) to driving, obsessive rhythms (part II) to passionate dynamics in the melody (part VI). Humour also has a place in this work (part IV).
The different parts: Prelude - Furioso - Interlude (Misterioso)
Scherzo - Lamento - Allegro Molto
