6 IMPRESSIONS was composed in 1987 on commission from the Academy for Music, Word and Dance in Vilvoorde, Belgium.
The work consists of six movements, each with its own character.
Both rhythmic and melodic percussion instruments are used, allowing for a wide variety of sounds.
