This work was commissioned by BBC Radio 3 and the Borletti-Buitoni Trust and premiered with Annelien Van Wauwe and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra conducted by Martyn Brabbins at the City Halls, Glasgow in March 2022.
That year, Wim Henderickx also made a version for clarinet and instrumental ensemble, for Annelien Van Wauwe and Carousel Ensemble.
He also made a solo version, for clarinet and electronics.
The work is dedicated to Annelien Van Wauwe.
Optional with electronics.
