The original version of Ave Maria was composed for bass-baritone Wilfried Van den Brande in 2012.
This version was recorded on the CD “Our Lady of Flanders”, which Wilfried Van de Brande produced together with organist and titular of Antwerp's Cathedral of Our Lady, Peter Van de Velde.
Wim Henderickx also composed versions for soprano, tenor and mezzo-soprano and organ.
