The SONG FOR OLEK was composed in 2009 to lyrics by Bart Moeyaert for voice and ensemble (flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, violin, double bass and percussion) and also for voice and piano. It was commissioned by I Solisti del Vento (I Solisti) and Theater Taptoe, who created a new stage interpretation of Olek schoot een Beer... (Olek Shot a Bear...) from 2006 and toured with it in the Netherlands and Belgium (2009-2010).
